New on ICM: Create Custom Contract Types and key terms
Signeasy AI ships with 19 system contract types and a fixed set of key terms. With Custom Contract Types, Account Owners and Admins can define their own contract types and key terms at the organization level. This helps Signeasy AI extract exactly what your business tracks. You can also add one-off fields directly on individual contracts without changing the org schema.
Where it helps teams like yours:Custom contract types are built for teams whose contracts don't fit standard categories. When contracts don't map to Signeasy's default types, they get misclassified and the terms your team actually tracks may not be extracted. Custom types let you shape the schema to your business so AI extracts what matters, every time.
Steps to set up Custom Contract Types and define Custom Key Terms:
- Go to Organization Settings and navigate to the Signeasy AI tab
- Click the Add Contract Type button and select Start from Blank
- Add a contract name, description, and choose the key terms to extract
- Define relevant key terms by clicking the Create New Key Term button
- Click Save. Signeasy AI will begin extracting against your custom type on new uploads
