With the new Delegation workflow you can now assign a trusted team member to sign documents on your behalf, so approvals keep moving even when you're out-of-office or on vacation.
How it works:
When you set up a delegation, any signature requests that come your way during your out-of-office period are automatically routed to your chosen delegate. They'll see the request in their own document listing, sign it, and the audit trail will clearly capture that the action was taken on your behalf.
Steps for setting it up:
1.) Go to "Account and Settings" → Manage Team
2.) Scroll to "Out of Office / Delegation"
3.) Choose your delegate, set a start and end date, and you're done
A few things to note:
Delegation is a team feature. You can only delegate to someone who is already a member of your team
You can set up only one active delegation at a time. If you've delegated to a team member, that person cannot be set as a delegate by someone else until yours ends.
